The Visitor is an intelligent and beautifully acted film about human connection set against the backdrop of a soulless and uncaring political system that is post 9/11 America. Richard Jenkins gives a superb performance as the lacklustre profesor whose world is transformed when he meets illegal immigrant Tarek. This collection of resources allows Level 2 students to explore the film’s human drama as well as its political message.
